BREAKING news Iraqiya Channel reporter in Rifa’e district wounded

Baghdad (NINA) – Reporter of Iraqiya Satellite Channel in Rifa’e district, 80 km east of Nasiriya, Thi-Qar province, Abdul Hussein al-Rikabi, wounded when a group of armed men fired a number of shots at him in the district’s industrial sector, in an attempt to assassinate him.

Security source told NINA that a group of armed men opened fire from their machine guns at Rikabi’s car while driving through the town’s industrial sector, wounding him.

The source added that Rikabi was taken to the district’s hospital in critical conditions, while the attackers fled. / End.
