Baghdad (NINA) – Head of the Youth Bloc in the Iraqiya Slate, Talal Al Zobae, asked the government to “provide all support possible to the National Football Team to pass the final qualifications for the World Cup finals in Brazil and preserve Iraqis’ joy.”
In a press statement today, Zobae said “all the official authorities are demanded today to support the team to get to the finals,” warning from the repetition of past mistakes that kept the team away from the finals for 25 years.
He pointed out to the necessity of maintaining this joy that “Iraq were deprived from since Iraq’s winning the Asian Cup four years ago,” asking the Parliament and the government to provide all potentials possible to help the team. /End/
