Contractor wounded in Jalawla

Baquba (NINA) – A contractor wounded when an improvised explosive device attached to his car went off on Wednesday evening, Apr. 25, in Jalawla district, east of Baquba in Diyala province.

Security source told NINA that an improvised explosive device attached to the contractor's car went off while driving through the main street in Jamaheer neighbourhood, Jalawla district, seriously wounding the contractor.

He added that police rushed to the site imposing strong security measures, and the victim is taken to hospital for treatment. / End.
