Baghdad (NINA) – The Ministry of Transport announced the opening on Manday, May, 1, the Baghdad – Bombay air route on two trips weekly.
In a statement to NINA on Friday, Apr. 27, the Minister's Advisor, Kareem al-Nuri, said, "the route will activate religious visit, because thousands of Indians seek to visit the holy shrines in Iraq."
Nuri added that the route will also serve Iraqis intend to undergo medical treatment in India.
Last Tuesday, Iraqi Airway announced that its first trip toward Bombay starts on Friday. / End.
