Baghdad (NINA) – President of Kurdistan region, Massoud Barazani, invited businessmen, firms and the private sector in Abu Dhabi to, "Boost their investments in the region."
The Patriotic Union of Kurdistan (PUK) reported that in his meeting with Head of Abu Dhabi Economic Development Department, Nasir Ahmed al-Seweedi, First Deputy Chairman of Abu Dhabi Chamber of Trade and Industry, Khalfan Saeed al-Kabi, Chamber members and representatives of Abu Dhabi economic activists; Barazani said, "Kurdistan region's private sector started playing vital role in its economy and is interested in benefiting from successful experiences of Abu Dhabi's firms and busineesmen." He invited them to invest in the region.
For his part, Kabi expressed the interests of Abu Dhabi busnissmen and firms to enter and invest in Kurdistan region's markets.
On Tuesday, Barazani, discussed with the United Arab Emirate' Crown Prince, Mohammed bin Zayed Al Nahyan, ways to promote energy, agricultural, tourism and transportation between the UAE and Kurdistan region.
The Patriotic Union of Kurdistan (PUK), web site reported that Sheikh Mohammed bin Zayed Welcomed wider relations with Iraq's Kurdistan Region, stressed that security and safety represent the major factor for the founding any investment. Expressing the UAE's interest in promoting relations with Iraq in service of the common interests, Sheikh Mohammed, saying that Iraq as a great country with its human and natural resources and assets, Sheikh Mohammed bin Zayed said: "We all have to learn from the experiences of advanced nations which proved that educated and qualified people are the major asset."
For his part, Barazani expressed appreciation of the progress of development in the UAE. He said that upon visiting landmark projects in the UAE, he was more convinced than ever that investing in the new generations is what makes the future Barazani arrived on in the UAE on Monday, he met with Vice President and Prime Minister of the United Arab Emirates and Ruler of Dubai, Sheikh Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum / End.
