Baghdad (NINA) – Prime Minister Nuri al-Maliki condemned the two explosions that occurred in Damascus earlier on Thursday, May 10.
In a statement to the press, Maliki said that he has received with sorrow the news of the two terrorist explosions the Damascus has been subjected to resulted in tens of innocent Syrian casualties.
He added that on behalf of the Iraqi people and government he strongly condemns these terrorist activities and those who are behind them, aiming against innocent civilians; he called on the Syrian people to aware and stand together united to prevent such ugly crime to be repeated.
Earlier in the day, the Syrian Capital, Damascus, was subjected to two car bomb explosions that resulted in the killing more than 50 persons and wounding tens of civilians and military personnel, according to Syrian media. / End.
