5 Waned captured, IED deactivated in Diyala

Baquba (NINA) – In search raids carried out on Saturday evening, May 12, in northern and eastern parts of Baquba, as well as it vicinities, police captured five wanted persons.

Security source told NINA that during search raid carried out in parts of Baquba, police captured three wanted persons, and two others in Wijaihiya district.

The source added that explosive ordnance disposal expert, deactivated an improvised explosive device, emplaced near the house of a police colonel in Baquba; no incident reported. / End.
